Lily's 1st Birthday

I know!! I know!! I told you all I was bad at this blogging thing but I'm finally doing it!! Lily's birthday was such a great success. I had so much help from so many people. Me and mom worked for almost 5 hours doing her cake the night before and I'm so glad we ended up doing it cause it turned out so cute. Even though there were a couple flaws it was exactly how i wanted it!

Everything turned out the way i wanted it to. We did a treat buffet and with the help of Jessica, mom and my dad, the house was decorated so cute. We had a ton of friends come and Lily got the cutest gifts. I cant believe my little baby is a year old. I have loved watching her grow up and become my little buddy. I cant wait to throw her many more birthday parties. Thanks to all my friends and family that have helped me this past year. Lily and I are so lucky!!

Lily's Birthday Is Coming Up!!!

Lily's birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and I can't believe it. Time has gone by so fast and I have LOVED every minute of it :) I'm SO SO SO lucky to have the best baby in the whole world and to be blessed with so many people that love her. I had some great help making her cute invites to her party. Jessica put the invite together and dad took these amazing pictures of Lily and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!! Thanks guys!!! I LOVE them. Here's another one that I'm in love with.

Staff BBQ

So a couple weeks ago we had a staff get together at my house. It was a perfect time since the weather finally decided to be nice and it was after the hairshow. I love everyone I work with so much and I'm so grateful to consider them some of my best friends. Thank you to Catie and Kyle for providing a great dinner and for everyone else for bringing the lovely sides and treats!! It was all so yummy. And thanks to my parents for letting us crash their house!! I had so much fun with everyone and I can't wait till we all get together again.

Memorial Weekend

Well back to work after an AMAZING weekend!! I LOVED spending time with all my friends and family and especially 3 full days with Lily. The weekend started on Friday. Lily, Uchenna, and I met Suzette and her girls at the Blaze game. It was so much fun!! Even though they lost, we sat in a suite and ate way too much popcorn and ice cream. LOL it was so worth it!! :O)

Saturday I woke up and started getting all my cleaning done. Then that night my dads whole side of the family came over for a pizza/hockey party. It was so nice having everyone together. Even Eric and Christi came out from PA to join us for the weekend. It happened to be the 2 year anniversary of Grandpas passing. We all miss both grandma and him so much.

Sunday was another hanging out with the family day!! I LOVE it. Breakfast and then dinner at the park. Im so glad that the weather is finally getting a little better so we can spend more time in the sun. Lily LOVED being in the swing. She was making us laugh so hard.

Craft Day

So all of us girls try to get together at least once a month to have a craft day. We make everything from holiday wreaths, block letters, holiday decorations, and blankets. On Wednesday we met again, minus mom that had to work and Bri who wasnt feeling good. But Cammi, Robin, and I still met and had a great day. Robin made us a yummy breakfast that we usually have on Christmas morning and since it snowed a couple days before that we even listened to Christmas music LOL call us crazy!! Robin was even working on a blanket that was from Christmas so it all went together well.

I made these cute letters that go on a shelve in my room. And in a couple weeks im going to a workshop to make some pictures that will go with it. I will post those pictures once I get it all put together. I LOVE these and they were so easy to do!!

Thanks ladies!! I had a great day. Cant wait to do it again :O)

Girls Day At The Park

So Lily and I took FULL advantage of the one nice day we had last week. After the hair show I took a day off to recover from the craziness and hung out with my girl all day!! We had so much fun. Except for the fact I couldn't find a highchair that I liked after visiting probably 7 stores. LOL I know I'm picky and they don't make a lot of black and white stuff!! So instead we went to the park and hung out on the grass and fed the ducks some of Lily's crackers. It was a good day that's for sure! Cant wait for it to get warmer and have more days like this.

Then later that night my mom and dad watched her for me so I could go to my softball game. And when I got home they had this video for me. Its pretty much the cutest video I've seen in a long time and I cant help to laugh every time I see it!!

Lily's First Trip To The Zoo

Last week we took Lily to the zoo for the first time. We had so much fun with her and she was such a good sport. She didn't really get into it but she was so good and didn't get upset. I think she just liked being in her stroller and hanging out with her cousins, aunt Bri, and Nana.










Aubrey LOVED being with Lily for the day. She was such a great helper showing her all the animals and walking her around. I'm so lucky to have Aubrey to help me out.


We took the kids for a ride on the merry-go-round. Aubrey and Lily loved it!! Collin not so much. Well until it stopped then he started crying cause he wanted it to keep going.

Overall it was such a great day. The weather was nice, even though it was a little cold, the sun came out and it was perfect. I love doing fun things with Lily and I cant wait till the day she is old enough to enjoy these things more.

LILY IS 7 MONTHS!!

WOW!! I can't believe it!! My little baby is 7 months old now. I feel like I have had her for ever but I still can't get over how fast she has grown up and how her little personality is coming out.

She is the happiest little girl. She always has a smile on her face. Unless she is just waking up then it takes her a min. LOL she's just like her mom!!

Lily loves to sit up and play with her toys. She loves to clap her hands. She makes silly noises and even fake coughs. I think one of her favorite things to do with me is watch basketball though. It makes me laugh so hard cause she won't even look away from the tv. She watches the ball and even claps when the fans get excited.

Lily really is the highlight of my life and I miss her every second I'm not with her. My favorite part of the day is when I get home from work and she smiles so big and gets so excited to see me. I'm so grateful for the family and friends that I have in my life that are there for Lily and I. Raising a daughter is hard enough, I don't know I would do without all your love and support.

NEW START. . . . NEW BLOG

So. . . Many people have given me a hard time about not keeping up on my blog :O) Well being super sick the whole time being pregnant and then raising a new baby I haven't had alot of time to keep up on this whole blogging thing. So I decided to start a new blog for me and my daughter!! Im super excited to share our journey with everyone!!! So thanks to my good friend Brooke, I now know alittle bit on how to do this YAY!!!
